This Privacy Policy explains how Trainer Hill (“we”) handles information on trainerhill.com for supporters who sign in with Patreon.

1) Who we are

2) What we collect

• Patreon details we receive: name, email, Patreon ID, membership tier, and pledge status (to confirm access).
• Data you provide: content you input into the Site and messages you send us (e.g., support emails).
• Technical data: IP address, device/browser info, and basic server logs. We use essential cookies only to keep you signed in — no analytics or ads.
• Payments: processed by Patreon; we do not receive your card details. See Patreon's privacy policy for their practices.

3) How we use information

• Verify Patreon membership and provide access (performing our contract with you).
• Operate, secure, and improve the Site (our legitimate interests).
• Respond to support and send important service notices.
• Comply with law and prevent abuse.

4) Sharing

We do not sell personal information and do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose data only to: (a) Patreon as needed for membership checks and payments, (b) service providers (e.g., hosting/database, email, security) that process data for us under contract and only under our instructions, and (c) authorities if required by law.

5) Retention

We keep information while you are a supporter and for at least 6 months after your last active pledge so your access can be restored if you return. After that, we delete or anonymize what we can, unless we must keep some data for legal, accounting, or security reasons. Backups are deleted on a regular schedule.

6) Your rights (for everyone)

All users can request to access, correct, delete, or export their personal data. Email support@trainerhill.com. We may ask for information to verify your request and aim to respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights (for example, we will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service).

7) Regional notes

EU/UK GDPR: Our legal bases include performing our contract (provide access), legitimate interests (security and site operation), and legal obligations. You may also object or restrict processing and can complain to your local data authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA): You may have rights to know, delete, and correct your information. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so no opt-out is required.

8) Security

We use safeguards such as HTTPS, access controls, and limited retention, but no method is perfectly secure.

9) Children

The Site is not for children under 13. If we learn we collected information from a child, we will delete it.

10) International transfers

Data is stored in the United States. Where required (e.g., EU/UK), transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

11) Cookies
